I think that the length of human gestation is pretty right-on. I feel like a completely different person than I was 9 months ago, after reading about 100000+ books and talking to other moms, and yoga, and childbirth classes, and meeting with the midwife, and movies, and support groups.
So Aislinn may have written about a video that Tony shot late last week of our pug Scoop wearing booties. Here’s to hoping the pug makes it big time. Story continues below advertisement.
One of my fears when I subscribed for Runners World a few weeks after I started the Couch to 5K was that I would be really into it for the first couple of issues and then I would be sick of running and it would just come in my mailbox and shame me for not […]
1. It’s silly awesome, but when I saw that I could possibly beat my previous “most miles run in a month record” this month, I ran just a little bit extra to say I did it. About a mile extra. 144 miles in all. My previous high month was in April — 143 miles. I was […]

So, umm, we had a little pre-canicross test. I took Scoop and Georgia on the bi-lateral leash down to the Lewiston-Auburn Art Walk. The round trip (we didn’t go to the Auburn side) was about 2.5 miles. This is my third summer in Lewiston, and the first year when we got Scoop, I walked him […]
You’d think that these guys ran 5 miles today: Actually, speaking of running with dogs: I’m thinking about it. There is an event at Pineland Farms this weekend — it’s called the “Canicross 5K.” You run the event with your dog. Georgia is out of the question; her legs are way too short — but […]
I found from my friend Mike my new favorite blog, Carrots N Cake, where this girl woman must be my long lost sister or something. She blogs about running and nutrition and her pug Murphy. You can read her awesome post about Murphy’s life lessons here.
