Love it or hate it, it’s taper time

I came off last weekend’s race to a scarily easy schedule of 4- and 3- mile runs.

Today is Wednesday, and I checked on my weekly milage ticker.

I can dig it. Reach the Beach left my quads wicked sore on Sunday and Monday, but by yesterday I felt fine again. I even did the speed workout for track club.

I have a haircut scheduled today. I’ve been thinking of a change in style. I said this last year at this time, too (thanks for reminding me, Timehop Abe!)

I need one really bad. I hate this wing thing.

Kinda like pixie-fauxhawk but something that can be smoothed out and look professional. But won’t look like hell when I’m crossing the finish line after a 5-hour race. 🙂
