Five years ago, I went out to Chinese food and I got this fortune.
It really spoke to me at the time, so much so that I scanned and saved it. Yea, I’ve been a blogger at heart for a long time.
At that time in my life I felt like I was aimless and lost. I wasn’t aspiring to doing and being much of anything at that time. It was then that I realized that I needed to focus on myself and my new career. I was going to aim high and not fear failure.
So when I was thinking of what the marathon meant to me, I remembered this.
Set high goals.
That’s what I want my tattoo to say.
