Memorial Day weekend

This weekend was fucking awesome.

It stared with the 9-mile Maquoit loop in Brunswick with Jen. We did a best time for that route, 1:39. That’s about 8 minutes or so off the amount of time it took the first time I did that route in January, so I’m pretty pumped about that.

Afterwards, Tony and I went to my parents’ house in Bangor for the rest of the weekend. Friday night we went dancing, Saturday I went shopping (Tony stayed home to do work, poo) and today, Tony and my brother Jim and his girlfriend, Chandra, hiked up Chick Hill in Clifton.

I fail at having pretty pictures to show you because my phone was dead when we did the hike, but I assure you, the summit was quite worth it.

On Saturday night I found myself going back to cycling and planning fun bike trips with my siblings this summer (they just need to realize that they want to go on them). ExploreMaine.org has a great website with different bike routes for different parts of the state. I would love to do at least one or two of them this summer.

I hope you guys all had a great Memorial Day weekend. It feels so good to spend time with family again.
